Armed with the confident knowledge of French learned in school often years ago, is how most of us arrive in France. But disillusionment can be just around the corner. French spoken by the French at speed and with the south of France accent is completely unintelligible. We know. We've been there. Now, six years on, much to our surprise, we can speak and write this language. So we offer our help to you if you're still struggling in those early stages.
